DETERMINANTS OF HAPPINESS AND WELL-BEING AMONG FEMALE GARMENT WORKERS IN VIETNAM
Abstract
Employee happiness is an important factor for any business and even more so for the garment industry, which is characterized by a predominantly female workforce. The article examined the factors affecting the happiness of face garment workers in Vietnam. From the perspective of employees, with a database of 215 observation votes collected at 5 garment enterprises in the Northern Region of Vietnam, the period from 02/2025 to 03/2025. By using the basic theory (Maslow, 1943) and through the study of quantitative economic models, PLS-SEM linear structure models, implemented on SPSS and AMOS 20 software. As a result, there is evidence that job satisfaction and satisfaction with working time are the main factors affecting employee happiness. The paper supplements existing theories to help human resource managers come up with solutions that are suitable for human resources in garment businesses around the globe.
