A HOLISTIC PEDAGOGICAL FRAMEWORK: ACTIVE KNOWLEDGE SHARING WITH TRI KAYA PARISUDHA FOR DEVELOPING 21ST-CENTURY 5C SKILLS AND ADVERSITY QUOTIENT

Abstract

This study proposes a holistic pedagogical framework that integrates Active Knowledge Sharing (AKS) with the Balinese philosophical values of Tri Kaya Parisudha right thought (manacika), right speech (wacika), and right action (kaya) in entrepreneurship education. The research aims to examine the effectiveness of this culturally grounded instructional strategy in enhancing students’ 21st-century 5C skills (critical thinking, creativity, communication, collaboration, and character) and Adversity Quotient (AQ). Employing a quasi-experimental design involving undergraduate students, the study measures the comparative effects of the AKS–Tri Kaya Parisudha model against conventional teaching approaches. Data were collected using validated instruments and analyzed through multivariate statistical procedures. The findings reveal that the integrated model significantly improves 5C competencies and AQ, demonstrating the transformative potential of combining active pedagogies with indigenous moral values. This research contributes to the advancement of culturally responsive teaching frameworks and offers practical implications for higher education institutions seeking to enhance student resilience and master 21st-century skills.
